The Cellar Fight Team grabbed a lot of attention again with it’s performances inside the ring; this time at the Hinckley Grand Casino. Five Cellar kickboxers got the chance to fight close to home for a change; this was our first local event in 2 years.

Nick Riley (Cellar Kickboxing) defeated Judsen Whiteis (Professional Karate Studios) by decision.

Mitch Whiley (Cellar Kickboxing) defeated Jamie Kottke (North Branch TKD) by decision.

Landon Franzmierer (North Branch TKD) defeated Neil Osten (Cellar Kickboxing) by decision.

Chris Cichon (Cellar Kickboxing) defeated Kip Olson (North Branch TKD) by TKO – The doctor called an end to this bout after round two. Olson was dropped once in the first round, and twice in the second. All three knockdowns were from punches.

Jon Lewis (Cellar Kickboxing) defeated Jordan Allen (Progressive Martial Arts) by judges decision – Another great fight. Both of these guys are true warriors and kept a very active pace all 4 rounds. Allen was down once in the fight due to a body shot, but he was back up again quickly and constantly brought the fight forwards to Lewis. This 4 round bout was for the vacant Mille Lacs Band Warrior Kickboxing Title.

This event puts a few more notches in the win column of the Cellar Fight Team.
