Chris Cichon and Antonio Dvorak to Represent Team USA in Brazil

The Cellar’s Chris Cichon and Antonio Dvorak have been selected to represent the United States at the WAKO World Kickboxing Championships in Guarujá, Brazil (São Paulo). The Cellar’s Justin Whiley will also be joining the team as a coach and team representative.

The WAKO World Championships is the most prestigious kickboxing tournament in the world. It is held every two years and each country may only send one fighter per weight class. This creates an elite competition that brings together the best of the best as 65+ National champions from all over the world go head to head.

Chris Cichon will be fighting in the -75kg division (165lbs) and Antonio Dvorak will compete in the +91kg (over 200lbs) division. This will be Antonio’s first competition outside the U.S. This will be Chris’ third trip to the WAKO World Championships, he competed in 2011 when the tournament was in Ireland and 2009 in Italy. This will be the 4th time Justin Whiley has been a coach of Team USA at the World Championships.
