The Cellar Fight Team traveled to Sloan, Iowa over the weekend as Anthony Mix competed in Extreme Challenge at the WinnaVegas Resort and Casino. Anthony was challenging the tough John Osterkamp in an amateur 170lb battle.

Anthony came out strong in the first round landing huge leg kicks, great strikes from the clinch against the cage, and almost secured a fight ending triangle choke just as the round ended. The second round was similar, Anthony landed more hard leg kicks and executed a beautiful trip along the fence to take Osterkamp to the mat and finish the round on top. Both fighters came out swinging hard in the third. Eventually the fight shifted to the fence and Anthony locked up a standing arm triangle. He threw his opponent to the mat and got the submission win.

For his exciting performance and dominating victory, Anthony won the “Fighter of the Night” award from the promoter. Congratulations Anthony!
