Marcelo Nunes Gets TKO Win in Superior, WI

The Cellar’s Marcelo Nunes got his second professional MMA win on Saturday via TKO against 6-4 veteran, Ron Imhoff. The win at Fearless Fighting Championship 15 in Superior, WI improves Marcelo’s record to 2-0 with 2 first round stoppages.

The fight ended quickly as Marcelo came out aggressive at the opening bell. He landed a hard leg kick before the two tied up. Marcelo landed a few strikes from the clinch and was pulled to the ground as Imhoff pulled guard. From there Marcelo postured up and landed a few hard strikes to get the TKO stoppage. The fight was called off just :27 seconds into the first round.

Marcelo will get back to training right away as his next bout is already scheduled for May 2nd in Davenport, Iowa.
