Pam Sorenson signs contract with Bellator

Earlier this week, Invicta FC champion Pam ‘Bam’ Sorenson (8-3) announced that she was vacating her featherweight title after asking to be released from Invicta to pursue other opportunities. Shortly afterwards, Bellator MMA officials announced that Pam has signed a long-term contract to join Bellator’s 145-pound division!

This exciting development in Pam’s fight career comes following a tumultuous few years in the game. Pam underwent major surgery to remove a large ovarian cyst prior to competing for the Invicta featherweight title, and additional health concerns as well as the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020 has kept her out of the cage since August 2019. Pam has remained determined, never losing focus on refining her skills and becoming a stronger fighter every day. We are endlessly impressed and inspired by Pam’s constant hard work and dedication to developing as a world-class athlete. We know Pam will keep achieving great things in Bellator, and we can’t wait to see her fight soon!
