Pam Sorenson Wins Invicta Bout By First Round Armbar

Pam Sorenson entered the Invicta FC cage on Saturday night as she took on undefeated Ukranian, Helena Kolesnyk. The fight started off cautiously with both fighters looking to find their range, then quickly Pam went in for a leg trip takedown and immediately passed Helena’s guard. After controlling her opponent, landing short elbows, and landing some strong knees to the body, Pam had a smooth transition to mount. She ramped up her ground and pound and Helena briefly attempted rolling to give up her back. Pam continued to control Helena from the top and after transitioning to “s-mount” she went for a great armbar at got the finish at 3:12 of the very first round. Pam improved her professional record to 6-2, Helena Kolesnyk suffered her first professional loss and fell to 5-1.
